Hi, I’m Robyn Hatfield. I love business. I have loved business all of my life. I loved it as a kid (when everyone else was playing house I was playing business). Many of my friends in college chose business as a major because they thought that was the thing to do. Not me! I loveddd it. I was the kid in the front row enamored by every case study. And I’m even more in love with business now!
I graduated cum laude with a degree in Business Management and a concentration in Accounting from Texas A&M University (home of the Fightin’ Texas Aggies).
While in school I interned with IBM in their accounting department. It was a great introduction into the business world. When I graduated, I immediately began working for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture Consulting) in the Financial Services Process Industry group. At Andersen I had the opportunity to be around some of the best and brightest in consulting and Corporate America. I helped companies such as NationsBank/Bank of America acquire and merge their information technology systems and processes. At Andersen I learned how to quickly identify a problem, identify solutions and implement. I later found out how valuable this was.
I have held several different positions in several different industries. From Information Technology to Financial Advising to Financial Analysis, I have seen all facets of the business world. I have worked for Corporate America in one of the hardest positions to attain, I have worked for small companies, and I have owned my own company in staffing and in real estate.
I have always considered myself in the marketing and sales field no matter my actual title. I do things differently than most sales and marketing people. My goal is to find the right solution for my client (no matter if it is with me or not). I pride myself on always putting my clients first.
Unlike many marketing and sales professionals, I understand the BIG PICTURE in business. I understand Corporate America (not only did I work in Corporate America I was a consultant that recommended processes and procedures for Fortune 500 clients). I understand small business struggles. I understand what it’s like to be your own boss and worry about EVERYTHING. I understand sales, finance, IT, HR and more. And I put that knowledge to work for my clients!
