You are ALWAYS A Business Owner ~ Brian Tracy

Anyone that knows me knows that I am a big fan of Brian Tracy.  I appreciate his background in business and sales.  And I love his philosphy.

I was listening to one of his CD’s this morning and he made such a great statement.  He said you are always your own business owner.  That is the philosophy you have to have in this day and age.

He explained that even if you don’t own the company you work for, you own your services.  And you should consider yourself the entrepreneur of You, Inc.  You are selling your services to your company for the price they pay.  Do you want to make more money?  You may have to increase your skills, increase your production or choose another client (i.e. company to work for).

By restructuring your thinking, you begin to see that you have control.  You are the maker of your destiny.  There is no one to blame except the person in the mirror.  And most importantly, YOU have the ability to change your life.
